Your Eternal Reward

NoOne

Life

Your Eternal Reward

Each generation looks back,
With disgust,
Upon the generation that came
Before.
Yet that same group will,
In time,
Grow old and look on the new
As rebels.
We are indeed bolder than
Our parents.
And they were more outspoken
Than theirs.
And we will have even less
Control
Over the generation to come
After us.
The endless circle will continue
Forever,
Until the day God says,
"Enough!"
And all we know is gone
For good.
The godly shall receive their
Reward.
The rest will be forced to pay
The price
Of a life they thought would have
No Consequences.
